Showcase Wildlife Photography

She is the first time Cowgirl! She is a friend of mine who hung out with us at Cherry Creek Lodge in Young AZ for a short weekend. Nothing special about this photo except the great smile and a bright day! I love to watch people smile. If you are someone like me who love to smile, you can head to the happiest blog on earth for more great smiles.

We got this warm welcome at Cherry Creek Lodge in Young AZ. A little 8 weeks old puppy were there watching us arrive at the ranch. We had great time with her and we will be back someday to hang out with her again. Cherry Creek ranch isn’t a very famous place in Arizona, but it’s definitely a great place to relax. You can find my favorite sunset HDR photo and rain deer sculpture too.

This is another one of my favorite blue sky photo. What I like about it is that the cloud is so white and sky is so blue and the eagle is so black. I would not consider this as professional photography, but I like it to be simple!

Eagle in the Sky

This is so far my best wildlife photography. These are the photos I took on my Mexico Cruise vacation to Cabo San Lucas. On our way back to US, we saw so many wild dolphins in the sea. I quickly pick up my Nikon D70S and start shooting. I probably shoot about 70 images and only few are perfect. The following two are just my favorite shots.

Wild Dolphins at Cabo San Lucas

It’s amazing how many dolphins are swimming side by side along the ship. They come and go in just few minutes. Looks like they just want to show off their natural skills.

It was a nice trip and I saw many things that I was not expecting in my life. Have you been to Cabo San Lucas?

Golf Ducks

This is very interesting photo taken at the golf course where I practice my golf skills. Suddenly the water came on and we saw 5 ducks cross over the green grass. It caught everyone’s attention.

Beautiful dragonfly. This is a macro shot using my Canon 7D and 28 – 135mm macro lens. I took this photo in Long Tan, Taiwan while reuniting with my parents and bother. It’s a wonderful trip to back home. The pictures shows the detail pattern on the wins. Glad I caught the dragonfly before it flew away.

Bees And Flowers

I Took this photo at my neighbor’s front yard. This is the first digital photo I took using my Canon 7D, which is the new camera to replace my old Nikon D70S. So far, I am very happy with the switch. Canon really stand out with the vivid color. The macro lens also did a great job on showing the detail of the bee.

After loading the photo to the computer, I realized that I caught the second bee at background. That make this image more interesting and becomes one of my favorite photos!

What do you think?
