Showcase Object Photography

Haven’t had a great Sunset photography for sometime. So I took a short trip to the South Mountain in Phoenix to take a look at the beautiful sunset on the cloudy day. Honestly, taking a great sunset photo isn’t easy. I took over 80 shots and only have one come out close to what I want. It’s not even close to real professional sunset photo. I guess I need some extra lens filter for sunset.

I kind of like the rest of photos in HDR. They turn out pretty close to what I want. What do you think?

This is actually my favorite black and white shot taken at the First Friday Art Walk in Phoenix. As you may ask, is it photoshoped? Yes. I did photoshop and blur the center windows. So it looks like the men on both side are looking at the opposite direction. Personally, photography isn’t always about reality. It can be creative. I, however, never tried to scan the QRCode on the window and see where it will take me to.

I had great night hang out with few of my photography friends. It was nice to hang out at Phoenix downtown and take some nice shot. You can also find my other Alien Invasion shots.

I post my dumb dumb alien invasion photo a while back. Now it’s time to face the alien in person. Kidding. I took these shots at First Friday Art Walk in Phoenix. It was a great tour to see art works and meet with local artists. I really like how the artist presenting the sculpture.

The second one looks like the alien is giving me a direction while I got lost in the crowd. It reminds me the song “Walk this way … ”

Well. These photos really have nothing special other than practicing my HDR image skills. I am far from being a PRO HDR Photographer. However, I am a visual person, so I will be focusing on realistic HDR from this point on. These are the last few photos taken at Arizona Renaissance Festival. You can find my other most viewed festival photos like Girls At Arizona Renaissance Festival, She Is On Fire, Dance With Me and HDR Silver Cups. Taking photos is one way to enjoy my digital life outside of work. Life is short and there a lot to see.

Well. I was going to post each photo in different post and decide not to do it. It will take me too much time to post all of them. So here you go. This is the last set of HDR photos I took at the Lomaki Pueblo And Lomaki Pueblo In Wupatki National Monument. You can find my previous photos and 360 degree video too. It was a breath taking trip to N. Flagstaff AZ.

Well. This is the only photo I had for Sunset Crater Volcano in N. Flagstaff AZ. I was NOT trying to create fancy HDR image, but I end up try to make it look more like a realistic HDR. I also don’t have a wild angel lens, so I use my default 28-135mm lens for the shot. I am still learning how to adjust the software to make it NOT too dark on the right side. Anyway, Enjoy it! It’s an amazing place to see volcano without flying to Hawaii.

These are just few of the photos I took at Arizona Renaissance Festival. I like how it turns out ad colorful shot. Of Course, it’s HDR, but not so much like unrealistic HDR.

It’s been few weeks since I post my last Flagstaff AZ trip photos. I reprocess some of the photos into HDR and like love the results. It’s amazing how the ancient Indian people live there. It was a very cold day and we had great time hike in the mountain. I love the cloud and blue sky that was a great trip to the northern Arizona.
