Showcase Object Photography

This photo was taken at Caesars Place Hotel in Las Vegas. I like the photo because of the curved composition. The blue sky and the white ladies just make this photo interesting.

Sugar Las Vegas

This photo really is nothing special. I like it because of the detail. This photo really shows how much detail the Canon 7D can capture. I also like the photo with nearly mono color. I took this at Las Vegas at bright day light. I only crop the photo. There is no color correction, sharpness whatsoever.

Bees And Flowers

I Took this photo at my neighbor’s front yard. This is the first digital photo I took using my Canon 7D, which is the new camera to replace my old Nikon D70S. So far, I am very happy with the switch. Canon really stand out with the vivid color. The macro lens also did a great job on showing the detail of the bee.

After loading the photo to the computer, I realized that I caught the second bee at background. That make this image more interesting and becomes one of my favorite photos!

Tucson Golf Resort

If you read more about my photos on this blog, you can tell that I love blue, green and white combination. I also love going out to hike. Now I am also playing golf. The best thing about playing golf is not getting the ball into the hole. It’s about seeing the green, blue and white. We took a short weekend trip to Tucson, AZ’s most famous golf resort. We did not play golf, but we did enjoy walking on the green.

Town Lake

I love the combination of blue sky, blue lake and green grass. Not to mention there is also enough white to compensate the scene. I took this photo near by my house, where people can picnic and jugging in the community. This was the early stage of my digital photography life. I started learning white balance to adjust the shot.

Cactus at Saguaro Lake

Don’t you just love the blue sky, blue water, green cactus in Arizona? This photo was taken in 2006 using my first DSLR Nikon D70S. My wife and I had a nice morning hike at Saguaro Lake. There is no better time to take a blue sky hike in Spring before the hot summer in Arizona.

Open Door

I took this photo a long time ago with long gone Nikon D70S in early 2005. This was one of my favorite photos in the old day. My wife and I went to the Rawhide for a short western town tour. I saw this wall with open door and wheel. It’s a perfect scene for the western world.
